Just follow the step-by-step instructions to make your own PVC pipe desktop organizer.
Materials
- Home Décor Cascade Chalk Finish Paint
- Antique Gold Multi-Surface Paint
- 3 in. x 2 ft. PVC Pipe
- 1 in. x 6 in. x 8 ft. Common Board
- Miter Saw
- Vinyl, Fabric and Plastic Adhesive
- Pencil
- Sandpaper
- Tape Measure
- 1½ in. Utility Brush
- Angular Artist’s Paint Brush
Step 1
Measure and cut board to 18 inches long using a miter saw.
Step 2
Sand the edges with 150 grit sandpaper.
Step 3
Paint the board with the Antique Gold paint, and allow it to dry completely.
Step 4
Cut the 3-ft. pipe to lengths of 5 in., 3¾ in., 2 in., and 2¼ in.
Cut the 2-ft. pipe to 4¼ in.
Step 5
Paint the PVC pipe with the chalk finish paint, and allow it to dry completely.
Step 6
Use a pencil to make a diagonal line onto pipes in various heights.
Step 7
Paint below the diagonal lines on pipe with the gold paint, and allow it to dry completely.
Step 8
Glue the PVC pipes to the board.
