Classic Chic Holiday Decor
As newlyweds, this will be our first year being home for the holidays. Naturally, we were so excited to get our tree up as soon as possible so that we can enjoy the sparkle that it brings to our lives.
Between lamps and dimmers, our home is filled with either natural light during the day or soft white hues at night. So when The Home Depot asked us to style our tree for the first Christmas at home, we knew it would be the perfect project. The team at The Home Depot sent the most amazing pre-lit Christmas tree full of soft white light, along with so many additional holiday goodies for our Holiday Style Challenge.
We designed our home as a neutral space where metallic colors are the focal point year round. For this holiday season we strayed from the neutral and wanted to build on the red and green festive colors and add lots of light-up garland. We opted for small red ornaments (you can get them in a case of 75!) and large gold ones. Staying true to our style, everything is bright, airy and elegant. Topping our tree with a big red bow was the virtual cherry on top.
The Home Depot also sent us these stylish glitter gift boxes, and we were able to compliment all of their goodies by picking up beads, ribbon, and the cutest little table top trees. Pro-tip: Stop by the light section and get some battery-operated fairy lights to add to your small trees. I love lighting these up at night to give some sparkle to my entryway and kitchen island!
For a little added glam, we picked up these large candle holders and stacked them with extra red ornaments. Our home is holiday-ready thanks to The Home Depot, and I can’t wait to add presents for all of our loved ones under our beautiful tree.
